Nashville Teacher Residency

As of Februay 2018, the first floor of the SNAP Center is home to the Nashville Teacher Residency (NTR). SNAP is proud to support NTR's important mission.

The Nashville Teacher Residency (NTR) "recruits and trains recent, non-education major college graduates to become high performing middle and high school math and English teachers serving low-income students in Nashville’s district and charter schools." NTR is committed to recruiting diverse educators for diverse students.

Falcon Coffee Bar/Flamingo

Located at 509 Houston St., Falcon and Flamingo are not just bringing new coffee and cocktail offerings to the neighborhood!  They're also a Zero Waste Facility and have a desire to educate the neighborhood about personally and socially responsible issues such as composting and nutrition.  Falcon was a generous sponsor of the SNAP Earth Day Cleanup Afterparty on April 21.
